You Can Fix What Isn’t Broken

If DJ Khaled were to see the title of this post he would probably respond with: “They don’t want you to be a magician; they don’t want you to improve yourself”. Listen to me, and Khaled, you can absolutely fix what is not broken. When we get a regimen of any sort down we stick to it because we know it works. We all know that growth is uncomfortable. If we don’t like it, we usually don’t do it right? Then life comes and forces us out in the cold and forces us to take that feeling and make the best out of it. We then fall into that same cycle.

What were to happen if you initiated a change in your lifestyle? It could be something as simple as practicing optimism to kicking any kind of addiction. What if you were to make a concious decision to be uncomfortable. You could be dangerous. You could change the world. Be that person. We need more in this day and age. What about me? At this time I am not comfortable. Not in my career, not in my financial state, not in my emotional or physical health. I want better and I am moving toward that goal. I’m making small steps but I am always moving forward. All at the same time, I am asking God to lead the way.

It all starts with the right mindset. Preparing to make a change takes mental strength and do not take it for granted nor neglect it. Mental health is just as important as feeding your physical body with the fuel it needs to take you from one day to the next. Don’t let anyone tell you different. We all want love, we all want to  be financially free, we all want to be on spiritual levels we have only dreamed about but you have to cross bridges to get there. What they don’t tell you is that you choose the materials that the bridges are made of. Will your bridge to success be strong or rickety? You decide.

You can also fix what isn’t broken through constant maintenance. We are always changing and naturally we are not designed to stay the same. So why stay in something that seems to be working but isn’t taking you anywhere? Do not wait until things fall apart. If you want better for yourself just do it. I wrote a post about not being initimidated by your bucket list.  Don’t be initimidated by the unknown. Improve you to always make sure you are growing and evolving in ways you can really appreciate.

And I will do the same.

Peace and Blessings.
