About Us
Madalyn Media is a storytelling, media, and community platform created for Black women who value creativity, truth, and cultural depth. Inspired by the ethos of Saint Heron, the platform exists at the intersection of art, wellness, culture, and conversation—offering a thoughtful space where Black women are centered, affirmed, and heard.
What began as a personal blog has evolved into a multidimensional home featuring essays, the Do You Hear Yourself? podcast presented by Project Healthvocate, book reviews, and community-centered dialogue. Each offering is rooted in reflection, humor, and intentional storytelling that invites Black women to explore who they are, how they heal, and how they show up in the world.
Founded by Madalyn—a writer, reader, and cultural observer—Madalyn Media was born from a love of language and a commitment to creating spaces that feel both intellectually engaging and emotionally safe. Through meaningful stories, sharp cultural observations, and moments of levity, the platform encourages self-awareness, joy, and honest dialogue.
At its core, Madalyn Media honors voice and visibility. It is a place where education meets inspiration, where wellness and culture are deeply connected, and where Black women are invited to be curious, vulnerable, and fully themselves—without performance or apology.
